Key fob not working properly?

My key fob locks and unlocks all of the doors, but it will not open my trunk.  
Does this mean that my battery is dying or is this function broken on my fob?

I don't think is the FOB if it it works on the door locks. It might be the trunk solenoid that operates the trunk switch. Open trunk with the key and check for voltage 12.4vdc at the solenoid, as u press the trunk button on the FOB. If voltage is present, and does not operate the trunk switch, replace the solenoid assy. If no voltage present, try replacing battery on FOB, if still no voltage, have it checked by a technician.
