check for a fluid leak at the flexible lines leading to the radiator....check the fluid level...sounds like yours has a low level....please check the rubberized connection to the radiator and fill to the correct level~

Look for a vacuum leak at the transmission....perhaps a rock bumped the connection...perhaps they are bloated or cracked...these butyl rubber hoses only last about ten years before they give up the stuff that holds them together to the atmosphere...Silicone lines cost about ten times more but worth every penny~

we should check why the check engine light is on.....limp it over to the parts store and they'll send a guy out -or- buy ye own for fifteen bucks~
