My 2003 Ford F250 keeps stalling at stops.I need work on the exhaust. Could this cause a problem?

Crappy gas and it probly has water in it. Dry gas.
Maybe check your IAC, "idle air control valve". Simple part to replace. If it dies at idle but truck drives fine when the gas pedal is pressed, then there is no problem with the throttle body and likely a problem with the IAC. Don't try to clean it, just replace it.
