Blower Not Working (New Blower, Resistor, Good Fuses)

Asked by Shannon Mar 14, 2019 at 09:43 PM about the 1994 Ford E-Series E-150 XL Econoline

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Blower motor will not come on. So I replaced the resistor, nothing. Replaced the
blower motor, nothing. Checked the fuses of course, still doesn't work. Anyone
have any idea of how to get the blower to work!

Are you getting power to the climate control head? They can got bad too. Possibly worn switch contacts. There is a part called blower control switch (heater control) you might want to investigate that. Make sure the ground wires are all clean and tight. Good Luck!

We replaced the resistor again (the part store said sometimes the part could be bad) and that fixed the issue for me

i saw a video on youtube, it says to check the wire coming off the blower motor. often it comes in contact with heat and causes wire to melt and short out. i have same problem, i will check in morning. my fan only worked on high all last summer. now nothing...and gas gauge read bone dry but tank is full
