i have a starting problem with my 02 lexus is300?

i have a starting problem with my 02 lexus is300. I took it to work and drove it normal.
went to my girl friend house and try to start the car again but this time it wouldn't
work.So i took it to a mechanic and he  told me that it could be my sparks plug and my
ignition coil. so we bought a new set of sparks plug and ignition coil for like 200 plus the
labor it was like 350. still the car wouldn't work so he told me that if it wasn't the sparks
plug than it could be the cam gear, the ignitor, or resistance in the wires to the ecu.

Im thinking it may be your key,if it has chip,may have gone bad,if you have another key try it.
