Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A 2004 IS 300 will start but none of the other electrical functions -work?
Can't get it out of the garage. Can't shift.  No buttons work...other than
starting the car
Problem started after changed battery because reversed the two battery
cables for a moment...I presume that wasn't good.
Replacing fuses did not help.

Anyone with similar problems...and hopefully solution?
Thanks

Electricity moves at the speed of light ... a whole lot quicker then you are able to undo a mistake... Most systems are protected from "reverse current" and I suspect that you tripped a circuit breaker. Look under the hood for the fuse and relay box.... then one-by-one reset the breakers
