Is300 Lexus auto transmission maintenance

Asked by 2jzgte2005 Mar 11, 2017 at 08:20 PM about the 2005 Lexus IS 300 Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just flipped over 100,000 miles in my iS300. I have
never  touched my transmission that is an
automatic for maintenance .  I've heard a lot of bad
stories about doing tranny maintenance and having
the transmission going out after it's been flushed or
fluid change .  Has anybody done maintenance to
their transmission kind of in my situation .??

You need to do a transmission fluid & filter change. Do not flush the transmission! This should be done every 40,000 miles.
