my sunroof wont retract open

I have a panaramic sunroof and the cover will open but not the glass part, has anybody else had this issue and if so what did you do?

I had this same problem with mine, i think the problem was it was too hot from sitting in the sun. So i parked it in the shade and waited a while before trying to open it.

I have a 2006 gtp and it has lasted until august of 2012. I have the panoramic and now the first slide will pop up but the last 3 will not slide back. I took it to the shop and they inspected it. If you can hear the motor click then its the pully mechanism. They wanted $1700.00 just to LOOK at it. Then repair would be billed after. If thats your only issue then dont sweat it. Since 2006 ive replaced almost every part on the car so the moonroof not working wont kill you. Its way to much to fix. Sorry....
