Where is the alternator fuse located

Alternators do not have a fuse, but it may have a fusible link. Follow the heavy wire from the back of the alternator toward the battery +. That said, I do not see any reference to a fusible link (or fuse) for a G6. What makes you think that is the problem?
U are rite...... I was told by someone there was either a fuse link or relay causing battery not to charge, well I did just what u said , and it was a burnt, Brokin, wire..... Checking continuity from alt. To battery is the fastest way to find this
Good job. I would follow up by checking the alternator output. Anytime I find a burnt wire I want to know why. Good luck!
Thank u very much. I'm glad u guys exist. If I hadn't done what u said, id be out there today pulling fuses and Prolly replacing windshield. Lol. U guys rock. Thanks!!!!!!! , Dave

On that car there is a fusible link on the hot wire to the alternator. It jumps off the starter solenoid, an is green. It is not protected properly again chafing and on my car shorted to ground against the a/c compressor. Replace it with another fusible link and protect it with that wire loom.
