Leaking radiator fluid

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently my 2002 pontiac sunfire 2-door has
started leaking radiator fluid. I red lined it once.
Overheating  but I was 4 minutes from home so
the head didn't crack. Still Runs perfect.. It's
coming from under battery box somewhere on
drivers side. I can't see it due to firewall by
front wheel. I just put another gallon in and
went to store and the fluid is less than 1/2 full.
I don't have a Jack to get under car. But before
I go to a service station I would like to have a
little knowledge before I'm handed some
ungodly bill that could be a simple fix.  Any
ideas where leak is coming from.? Thank u.. Oh
also when I reach under battery it felt like a
skinny metal tube that I could wiggle freely like
nothing is attached but there again I can't see
nothing under the battery box.

That sounds like the radiator overflow tank might be leaking or overflowing.

Thank you for answering so quickly. I believe I found the leak. Drivers side upper right hand corner of radiator looks cracker. I do see fluid coming out some from there. Overflow tank area is all dry. It's the drivers side that's always wet. I researched it's a real job to get the radiator out. That's going to be a hell of a bill. Thank u again for your advise.
