Pontiac firebird 2001 when I click lock motor roars lights pop up and then down same happens when I turn car off.

Not quite sure what you're asking or what's going on you mean when your turn the car off the headlights pop up and when you start the vehicle the headlights are popping up?

YES, when I use remote light covers go up and down. Light Motor roars. When I turn car off ,same noise, light motor light go up and down. Not while car is moving not yet any way. 6yt6g

Yeah what that is is it's a programming feature of your alarm the headlights turn on and off when you use your remote to show that you activated the alarm. You can research online how to program your remote it's different with each car but just put your year and model, make of your vehicle and put programming remote in the search field and you'll come up with something online and if your Motors are acting up there probably getting older you can Lube the gears on the headlight Motors but they might be going bad hope this helps ?

When you reprogram your alarm remote the feature of having them come up and down will no longer happen cuz you can program that out of the system and change the programming parameters of the remote where you can turn that feature off so the headlights won't pop up anymore.
