if you had a shop after a few years you could build a car for yourself
What parts you having issues with? Clutch disk, pressure plate and throw out bearing?
This is the first step to folly- trying to save money but forgetting that time IS money- really, it's not that hard- how could you forget? trying to explain how all that clutch stuff goes on the engine and tranny is something I just don't have time for- sorry-
1. Take pics during disassembly. 2. Put stuff into tupperware with labels. 3. Have correct shop manual. Okay, so now you have a bunch of pieces and no road map. Hope this will help job your memory: http://www.thirdgen.org/clutchassembly. Most shop manuals are on line if you search enough, but they won't tell you where each bolt and nut belongs. Get a manual and pay attention to the torque specs. Even more important are the lock washers. They aren't just extra bits to fill the space. I always replace them with new ones, the cost is cheap insurance against a critical bolt or nut working it's way loose in 10k miles. Good luck!
