That means you have a problem with your car. Either scan it for codes or take it to a mechanic so they can. That should tell you where the problem is.

The service light with a wrench symbol is a non emissions light. GM uses this light for oil change (based on oil condition) and headlight issues. The reset process once these are fixed is comical but easy to do. You need to (while car is off) pump gas 1 time & break 1 time; Then turn your key to the on (but not cranked) positions; pump the gas 3 times, press and hold the break 15 seconds; turn the car to off and then crank it and the reset is complete.

I'm having headlight issues when I put my car in Drive a wrench symbol comes up on my dashboard and I don't know how to fix it can somebody help me

service light with wrench symbol; step 1) while car is off; pump gas 1 time & then pump break 1 time step 2) turn car on but do not crank; pump gas 3 times and the hold brake for 15 seconds step 3) turn car off, and then crank it. reset is now complete
