1999 Bonneville SE drivers side power window doesn't work -- no sound when I press the switch at all -- all others do work. Any idea what the problem is?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've popped the panel from the door panel and popped the door opener well but can't find anyplace where the screws might be that hold the panel on. Thinking the motor went out, but so far can't get the panel off to investigate further.

finally found it - was behind the power mirror assembly - popped the cover off, worked the switch thru the cover and removed the bolt. (rock)

when the motor power was disconnected and I tested the switch, switch had 12V both directions. BUT there was a clicking noise! How does this happen when there's no power to the motor??? Also removed motor and checked to see if it was turning - it's working.
