What else can I do????

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 99 base model firebird has security light on and
won't start, I replaced the ignition cylinder wired
the resistors with correct resistance to match a key
and all that and the car still won't work . I'm
thinking about bypass but it should work now
without a key cause I'm supplying the resistance
with the wires , anyone have any ideas of what is
the deal?
