i just replaced my cars fuel pump. my firebird was stopped for 2 years and it works fine but after driving around for like 40 mins or less the fuel pump gets really loud and it dies i let it sit there for like 5 minutes and then run great for about 2 minutes and i have to do that intill i let cool down completely 16 Answers

Have a 1999 Firebird that is running hot. I just changed out the Radiator and Thermostat and refilled with dex cool restarted the car and ran at idle for 10-15 minutes when fans kicked on the gauge began to rise and eventually to the red line . Is this a water pump or sensor issue? any suggestions? 4 Answers
