Ignition switch/security system lock

Asked by Ralph1982 Feb 23, 2016 at 05:10 AM about the 1997 Pontiac Sunfire 2 Dr SE Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1997 ponitac sunfire that will not start
I've installed a new battery..new starter...plugs
and wires..coil packs...ignition modular..etc
now its to the point where people are saying it
could be a security lock due to a bad ignition
switch. I've tried different ways to disable the
system but nothing works. If you have any
solutions please feel free to help me with this
issue.
