can the auto speed changer be disconnected?

while driving...the car will change speed because of new speed limit signs. I think this is dangerous especially on a highway with cars behind you and traffic...Is there a way to disconnect this feature?

Read the owners manual and/or ask your dealer. I suspect this is something you would have to defeat every time you start the car if it can be defeated.

Are you using cruise control? There is a function that changes the distance that you follow at while using cruise. It feels like it changes your speed but its going off the distance from the car in front of you and their speed.
