Supercharer Problems

Asked by 96V6Firebird Sep 22, 2009 at 12:41 PM about the 1996 Pontiac Firebird Base

Question type: Car Customization

I have a V6 3.8L OHV 1996 Pontiac Firebird the engine of this car is the Buick V6 3800 Series II L36. I heard that you can put the Eaton Generation III M90 supercharger from the Buick V6 3800 Series II L67 into the L36. How much would I have to modify the intake manifold in order to get the supercharger on? If it is not possible can you give me a link to a Super charger that will fit my firebird.

the big problem is not the manifold it is the computer, all the fuel curves will be way off. if you are going to put the supercharger on, pick up an intake from a junk yard, they use different intakes all together.
