Starting problems

Asked by Brianthelucky1 Apr 05, 2016 at 08:17 AM about the 1995 Pontiac Firebird Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1995 pontiac firebird 3.4 litter the other
day I went to leave  it would not start it was turning
over and getting fuel  and it seemed like it was not
getting  fire but it was and it still would not run so I
got a jump and it started  but it was running  poorly
I had to keep on the gas to keep running then a big
amount  of gas and watter came out the exhaust
so some one told me that it has a bad head  gasket
or head  are timing  so I pulled the plugs and a little
bit of gas came out of one cylinder  then I thought
maybe it jumped  time so I got down to the timing
and it looks fine . I just trying to get help to see if
maybe it mite be a easy  fix before  I take stuff off
again  like I did for the timing and find out its not
thats not the problem is it a sensor I don't know
please help
