why wont my car start right up?

why wont my car start right up after sitting for at last thirty minutes it takes like four trys to start and then it finally starts. it turns over but doesnt start right away i have to do it like four times to get it started

Check your wires, sparks, fuel filter, O2 sensor. Had similar problems and now waiting for O2 sensor.

another cause can be the fuel pressure regulator, especially if you have to crank more than once.

sometimes on older cars you have to pump the fuel pedal a couple of times before you try to start the car
