My driver window stopped working...

My power window on the driver side stopped
working. I switched the harness to the
passenger side since that winfow works and
nothing happened... so i bought a new window
motor to test it and that motor wont work..
what else could cause this... please help..

Im leaning more towards a wiring issue cause the driver switch will bring down the passenger window... what would i need to test the wiring a test light or a volt meter?
