1991 pontiac firebird 3.1 V6 engine stalls after depress brake pedal

Bought Pontiac Firebird in great condition. But suddenly when I riding on highway and
heavy depress brake pedal and rpm goes under 1000rpm engine stalls. But then I can
start engine and continue ride until the situation repeats when I pulls brake pedal and
engine goes under 1000rpm. Any ideas? Thank You.

When you applie the brakes do you hear a sound like air leaking coming from under the dash. If you do then I'd replace the brake booster. Is the pedal harder to push than it used to be?

No pedal pushes quite soft, for example softer than on my 1995 Ford Crow Vic
What about the noise? That's more important then how the pedal feels. A booster can still be leaking and have a soft pedal.
Being that he car is almost 25 years old, it could be the brake booster, a bad vacuum line(s), bad fuel pressure regulator, plugged fuel filter, fuel injectors, hell even bad gas if its been sitting a long time. Are there any lights on in the dash?

After engine stalls "check engine" light appears. Then I start engine and everything goes normal. Previous owner says that all service maintenance done. No car wasn't sitting at all. It was daily driving his girlfriends car
Well unfortunately you can't trust what anybody says today. Especially if they are trying to sell you a vehicle. Try looking into the things I listed above. If all else fails take it to a REPUTABLE mechanic.
