minutes later I come out and the car
would crank but not fire. Ive since

Get yourself a spark tester and start testing. Work your way back from the plugs to the distributor cap. Open up the cap and check it and the rotor for corrosion. Get a DVOM and test the crank position sensor.

The plugs are good but no spark. Tested the coil and cap and there is power to the distributor. When I replaced the module the rotors were Fine and the distributor was clean.
The security system has locked up if you have no spark and everything else is good. Unplug the battery for a long time one day(s) or tow to dealership to have vehicle's computer reset.
