I have a 996 C4 Cabrio. When I start the car all the warning lights continually flash and the failure lights flash on and off. The spoiler moves up and down continuously. Once the car warms up, everything stops and all lights are normal. It was suggested that I clean the battery terminals and cable ends well, and I did this. Still the problems exists. The car starts normally, shifts fine (tiptronic) and paddle shifters work fine once the car warms up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Porschehappy

Another possibility is moisture in one of the fuse boxes. Particularly if you've had really cold temps followed by warmer weather.
