1995 Ford Explorer 2wd 4.0 6cyl. Drivers Window Regulator and motor

Asked by Kat. Nov 13, 2020 at 11:21 AM about the 1995 Ford Explorer 4 Dr Eddie Bauer SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 1995 Ford Explorer only
because Im in a No Rust State
and the body and frame are in
great shape. The wiper and Driver
Window do not work but the guy
had purchased both the wiper
motor and regulator with motor
but never replaced. The old
regulator and motor were not in it
or I would have replaced motor
only or put nuts or bearings in the
gear to replace the shredded
plastic..question is..How many
wires should the Drivers side
Power Window have? This has
blue and red but it doesn't seem
to match the harness..it has all
the wires on the end of the plug
this has 2..Im a DIY type but I do
not like electrical issues. Any
insight would be helpful. Thanks
in advance.

Believe it or not I actually did it. I ran a jumper wire. I'm just trying to get it to pass inspection. Thank you for your help.
