Replacing the IMS when the clutch is replaced is the time to do it as there is considerable labor savings. Unless the owner can prove that they paid for the IMS replacement I would assume it was Not done.

In 2002, there were no replacement IMS bearings available. The first commercially available IMS bearing replacement kits were from LN Engineering in 2008 with the IMS Retrofit.
