The eighth character of the vehicle identification number (VIN) is the engine code and the tenth character is the model year. The VIN can be found on the bottom of the driver's side of the windscreen viewable from outside of the vehicle and on a sticker on the driver's doorjamb. Google a VIN decoder for your vehicle. Determine the model year first, then the engine code. Hope that helps! Jim
