Can you help stop my car dying?

I've recently purchased a 97 Saab 9000. The
battery was dead the next morning though, so I
bought a new one. But then the next day it was
dead again. I took it to AutoZone to get an idea of
what's going on, and they said it was likely my
alternator. So I got a new of those as well. Now,
however, I just jumped it, and drove it and all that,
turned it off, and it won't start again. There was the
sound of my trunk continually unlocking, so I
pulled the trunk lock fuse. The fuse is also for EDU,
and ACC apparently, but I'm not sure what those do
in this car. I'm wondering if I can just leave the fuse
out, and it'll be fine, maybe this is draining my
battery while it's off? Can you please tell me what
this might cost to fix, what it may be, and if it might
be fine as is right now?

Congrats on your purchase for the '97 9000 CSE! Depends on how much of a DIYer you are. Sounds like there is a need for some good diagnostics for the issue. I do agree with Ed92626 that it might be a grounded wire that shouldn't be grounded which would be a pain to find. You might try checking out www dot saabnet dot com /tsn/ faq/ service/ to see if there is a good Saab mechanic in your area. Most likely they should be willing to talk to you about the issue and give some suggestions over the phone. You might also try www dot saab9000 dot com for good info about your car.
