can I put newer engine in 1993 saab like 2005 or 2008

Ceylonj, while i don't know anything about the specs of such a project, I would assume that it is possible to do an engine swap to a newer Saab engine but would not recommend it. Since Saab went out of business, it can be very hard to find certain parts. That said, the necessity of specialized parts and labor means that there are companies that produce commonly needed Saab parts, and there are also independent mechanics shops that work exclusively on Saabs and the like, and they would have access to rare parts that are no longer manufactured. Additionally, lots of people sold their Saabs when the company went under, so finding the engine itself might not be very difficult.
