My 1996 ES300 just died on the way home. No dash lights, no electrical power, nothing. Any ideas?

first thing that comes to mind is a dead battery caused by a bad alternator. jump it and test for voltage coming out of the alternator.

how much should i pay for a used 1996 es300 lexus with 150,000 miles and i have to fix the front lights and the fender and a paint job
