If your ck engine light is on in your dash board, visit your auto mechanic and ask him to check with a scanner reading computer car...so that way the scanner let you know what sensor is defect and replace. Don't forget erase computer car memory so that way avoid check engine light come out again. Also check the starter and cable connection.

Battery cables must be free of corrosion, clean and tight. This also applies to the connections at the starter. I would have the battery tested and then look at the starter if the battery cables are checked and are good. Do NOT assume something is good without testing it.
