Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The check engine light comes on, the cars runs rough, then the check engine light goes off the car runs fine.  Took it to the shop and they changed 1 and 3 coils, worked fine for two months then the same problem. Could it be the computer?

no, it wouldnt be the computer. Possibly a oil control valve that adjusts timing for bank 1. Those commonly fail.
