Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Good afternoon
this is Preston C lheureux I recently
bought a 2006 ioN on October 12 2017
at 2746 Bernville Road Leesport
Pennsylvania 19533
phone number 610-777-6500 with 164762
miles on it now I know that's a lot of miles.
but  here's the situation at 164762 I put a
quart of oil in it before I left the Dealer's lot
drove it to Marietta and drove it to
Lancaster and on October 15th the milage
was 164876 I put another quart of oil  in.
Now there's no leaks or blue smoke.
any suggestions I really don't want to get
rid of the car but it's a daily driver and I
can't afford to put one or two quarts in
every hundred miles thank you have a nice
day Preston C lheureux

Install a rebuilt engine or keep adding oil. You can try using oil that is one grade heavier and it might reduce the oil consumption. Also make sure the PCV is working properly.

We do not need to know your name and all the phone numbers Preston. Look better for leaks and smoking, see if your radiator fluid looks milky. What grade oil are you using in it?
