Why won't the interior lights shut off?

right hand dash cover, it has a door ajar switch behind or to the inside of it. there is a piece of foam or plastic that sometimes was misaligned when installed from the factory. install another section of hard foam, cut to correct height, reinstall panel and viola, you should have light out with right door closed. alfordteck

Turned out to be the alarm system thanks for the help.

I have the same problem now. No door ajar light on though.

how do you turn off front dome light in Saturn vue 2007?

was there another answer for this? Had the same problem today. No doors or hatch open/ajar for my 2006 Saturn Vue but the interior lights just wont go off, even when driving.
