Problems getting car to stay running when hot

Asked by Augusta Aug 23, 2019 at 11:09 AM about the 2005 Subaru Baja Turbo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When cold, my Baja will start & run great &
will have no problems at all.  if I shut it off
(like to get fuel) and the engine is still hot, it
will start but die immediately & will do this
after I try it several times.  Sometimes if I try
to hit the gas pedal I can get it to stay
running longer but it still dies.  It will only
start up and run after it cools off a little.  Last
time it took about 20 minutes for it to cool off
enough so I could get it to start & stay
running.  Other than that it runs great.  What
could be wrong with it?
