Why does my 1980 Buick century die when I push on the brakes

Check for a vacuum leak. I've seen it happen where the diaphragm inside the booster goes, and that creates a massive leak. Also, have you had a problem with the brake fluid dropping but not finding a leak? A bum booster can cause the seal to fail on the master, and suck the brake fluid into the booster. When you hit the brakes, that can cause the engine to suck enough brake fluid to stall the car.
