i recently replaced my heater core and it doesnt have warm air like it did.ive noticed that between the heater hose from the core to the rad theres some type of control valve there with a tiny hose to it but it doesnt seem to work. what id like to know is can i run a straight hose from the rad to the care and eliminate it?also hose from block to core? any help would be appreciated

Hey cadzz-- Before we get into anything complicated, I would suggest you check your thermostat. That may solve your problem with little fuss or muss or money. Let me know if that doesn't work. Good luck from Bovan.
