power steering not working

My wifes 2003 Opel Astra 1.6 CDE power steering stoped working. I checked the steering/transmission oil,and found that it is not dirty and the level is not low, what are possible faults or problems and how can I fix it.

Remove some power steering fluid with something like a turkey baster then add some Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak it not only stops leaks but totally corrects rack and pinion problems.

Hi my opel astra H 1.6 2005 power steering has just stoped working. Oil and fuse is still good.

If power steering stops it can be a faulty battery, alternator or last option a new power steering pump is required. As when power drops the pump shuts of to protect its self . If problems persists after this check with your mechanic.
