My crown vic won't start again

Asked by GuruT7KR Apr 04, 2017 at 09:09 AM about the 2003 Ford Crown Victoria

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2003 won't turn over again. This is an ongoing issue. I replaced the
battery and the alternator and had the auto start disconnected. In the past
I've jumped it with my jeep liberty and honda civic. Sometimes it would turn
over after we jump it for maybe a week. The last time I jumped it with my
honda civic. I let it run for about 10 minutes. Later in the day it wouldn't turn
over again. Can anybody please advise me why this continues to happen
and what needs to be done to fix it.

Is the battery going dead, or not enough volts to turn it over ? if so I would look at making sure you have a really good ground. I would add another one from the battery to the body and engine !

Check all the battery connections, the grounds and the connection at the starter. They need to be totally free of corrosion and tight.
