solenoid wiring on 250 6 cylinder

which post on solenoid does the red wire with blue stripe go to,and red wire with green stripe go to.there is an I post and a S post.

I assume that you are talking about the starter solenoid... The "s" post is energized when the starter is engaged. The "I" post is energized when the ignition is on. If you have a test light, you can find out which wire has power when the ignition is turned on and which one only has power when the key is turned all the way to the start position. Then you will be able to hook the wires to the correct terminals. I am not sure which color wire is which on that particular model, but if you have a shop manual with wiring diagrams, you can look it up. Also a Google search for wiring diagrams and service information may help if you do not want to use the test light.
