I have a 2008 Rangerover HSE w/ warning " SUSPENSION WILL LIFT
WHEN SYSTEM IS COOLED" Is that a bad compressor or a bad controller
or a bad sensor, the rear passenger tire shows orange square at the top of
the tire sometimes. It also warns me that the system is off and i should not
go faster than 30 mph the ride is extremely bumpy when this happens.
They want $1200 for the controller plus $300 to install.

Most likely from personal experience it's a bad air strut or rear airbag. Since you mentioned the rear tire had the orange triangle on top, it's the rear passenger airbag. I've one available that's literally new. Let me know if you're interested. It's not the controller.
I never had a rear airbag fail on any of the 3 e322 rovers I have had. I have lost front struts on all of them. So you have hit the lottery on that one. Sounds like you have a leaky strut or your pump has failed or both. They have replaced the part number for that older style pump for a new one that is less prone to failure. Make sure your system is cleared of debris too. If they don't clear it your pump will fail again.
