This optra is losing power when reversing up an
incline or driving up an incline. What could the
problem be.

Your car probably has a power loss all the time but it is more noticeable on slopes. If you have not tuned it up and changed filters recently now is a good time. If that does not do it perhaps the catalytic converter might be partially plugged up.
