Typically after a few (2-3) drive cycles. Meaning drive the car long enough for it to warm up and cool down.

You have to reset it yourself, or have someone with a code reader reset quick. I've never had luck with it but apparently if you disconnect your negative bat termial for 10 to 15 minutes it will reset the computer. I personally just take it somewhere quick. It should be no charge. They are there because the computer stored them there, and will remain till its reset, at which point it should stay gone unless your still having issues then it will return shortly if not instantly
