2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

issues with starting, truck runs fine for a couple weeks and then it won't turn
over, wait a day and it starts right up and runs great, could it be the starter
going out

I don't think so , make sure the batt terminals are tight , The problem will have to be diagnosed when it occurs , Look for any obvious wiring problems , mice can invade even a daily driver I found a chunk of muffin in the door jamb of my truck by the lower hinge , some critter figured it was a good place to eat . Truck gets moved every day
