Ford explorer sport 2002 battery terminal

I have a 2002 explorer sport. My car was low on
gas so i went to fill up at the gas station. After it
was full, i tried to start my car and it was clicking. I
bought a new battery and replaced it. The terminal
connectors were super corroded. I tried to start my
ford and it sounds like it almost wants to start.. But
won't turn over. Any suggestions? Bad
connecting/new terminals? Also, i tried to take the
terminals off to replace them and cant because
they are too corroded. Help please!!!!! Ps. Its been
snowing/raining sub 0 degrees.

You need to replace the battery cables if you do not want problems starting the vehicle. All that corrosion is what is causing the problem.
