Fluid level would be the first thing,if fluid is full,then your tranny may have bit the bullet.

I checked fluid and it was at mark. I Also smelled the fluid and it isn't burnt. Is there any sensor that can cause it to stop pulling?

No,the only sensor,s on tranny is speed,and overdrive,they would not cause this issue.
