O6 dodge caravan jerking, burning gas, running rough

My van popped getting gas and smoke came out from
under the hood. Then out the blue, the whole front end
shook and ran bad. Changed plugs and wires, still running
bad. Uses gas as soon as it gets put in. Runs like it's going
to die. Plugs and wires were burnt up before I replaced
them. Please help!

The first thing is get the car scanned for any codes. Did you change the fuel filter sounds as if the car is staving for gas. did you check the fuel pressure ?
