Water leak

I have a 2003 dodge intrepid  2.7 motar I
have  leak  when I waa adding water while
motor was running I noticed water under
the black motor cover  looking from the left
side of the car . It was under the black cover
at the front of the motor. I dont know if its a
hose or what. But I put wayer in the holding
tank aka plastic tank and it leaks out  pretty
fSt. Can anyone tell me where the water is
coming from . I need help a female just
teying to fix my car with no clue but it leaks
like underneath the cover that covers up the
valve covers

It could be hose, water pump or thermostat. You should stop by a shop to address the leak. Otherwise you will fry the head gasket which will cost you as expensive as new motor...

Pop the engine cover off, you'll be better able to see what is leaking. If a hose leaked it could have sprayed coolant and pooled on top of the motor. Someone will just have to investigate that's all. You don't mention any overheating issues, so hopefully all you have is a leaky cooling system.
