Ford Taurus AC/Heat

Asked by Kaydee17 Apr 12, 2018 at 12:13 PM about the 2001 Ford Taurus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Ford Taurus FF. All of a sudden
yesterday I realized that there was no air coming out
of my vents when I turned on my A/C and heat.
Anytime I do turn them on it will click a couple times
and then nothing. I’m at a loss.

The blend door actuator must be bad. It is a small plastic box, probably black, located under the dash around the glove box area attached to the heater box. Go online and you will be able to see videos describing exactly how to replace it yourself.

You may have a bad fan motor or a bad relay. I would look into your owners manual to find the fuze and check and see if it is a faulty relay. Otherwise check the fan
